People can change. Accountability is necessary, but giving opportunities to grow is equally important. I personally find it counter-productive to demand an individual learn/evolve then simultaneously keep everyone involved stuck by not allowing chances to show they have.

Wanna know why WWE pushes the Dusty narrative so hard? Cody, privileged, attractive son of a wealthy, famous, self-made wrestling superstar, lacks nearly all his father's sympathetic "common man" traits. No doubt he's worked hard, but he's only a half-step from being Charlotte.

It is rather jarring to read an active, top-tier superstar pointing out WWE's long-standing tradition of instantly and purposefully erasing 95% of a competitor's identity & achievements prior to entering the company.
This narrative is false. I started wrestling at 18 years old in back rooms of bars, in pole barns, at UAW Halls, the occasional parking lot. Lost money. Broke bones. Drove countless hours alone just to build a name that got erased the second I walked in the WWE door.

They called up Hit Row to trigger than 90-Day No-Compete vs. NXT's 30 Days. They don't want to use them, but more importantly, they don't want anyone else to use them either!
Fightful has learned that WWE have released John Morrison, Top Dolla, Ashante Adonis, Isaiah Swerve Scott, Tegan Nox, Drake Maverick, Shane Thorne, and Jaxson Ryker.

Guy in Front Row: "You sound like a man!" Me: "When was the last time anyone said that about YOU?!" ::: Entire front rows laughing and pointing at him :::

    It's actually a super-plex, a well-established finisher for a generation.

I found it offensive & tasteless when people suggested a year ago I would compromise my integrity to “rehab” someone’s image, but now — during a time of tragedy for many — twisting the narrative hits different. Some folks just need to stop! Mark & Jay were always good to me. 💔

Saying @Jade_Cargill is "green" shouldn't be a go-to insult. She's wrestled scarcely more than a year. The hard work she puts into herself physically, being a mom & growing as a competitor seems obvious. And she has a serious "It Factor" which can't be learned!

Reason for Tweet: A whole new round of people are suggesting this photo was a concerted effort to “rehabilitate” a public image. As the person literally central in this picture, I saw it as three people who quite genuinely had good times together capturing a moment of real fun.

P.S. Don't believe everything you read on the Internet from a decade ago. 💙
