- This may be a surprise to Harry, but we actually see sepsis in the ER basically every day. There isn’t an ER nurse in the world who would say “we’ve been seeing a lot of sepsis lately”, because we see a lot of sepsis lately all the time, and have done so for all of forever.
- Hi, I am doctor. Specifically, an emergency doctor. Every teenager who goes into cardiac arrest sees myself or one of my colleagues. There is no increase in teenagers collapsing or going into cardiac arrest. You’re just more aware of it, and have a political motive to care.Hi. I’m not a doctor. I’m just a simple man of 37 years who pays attention to trends we can see with our own eyes. I’m here to tell you that it is NOT NORMAL for thousands of healthy teenage athletes to be collapsing - some dying - from cardiac arrest. Now ask: Why? 🧐

- Replying to @gertieokI spent years working in EMS and am an EMS physician. Many ER docs are former EMTs and paramedics. This isn't an issue of being pompous, it's an issue of an insufferable imbecile relentlessly pushing a conspiracy theory for his own benefit, at the expense of his peers.

- Weird, this whole time I’ve maintained an ability to communicate with patients while wearing a mask, like a functional adult who is at least minimally resilient.
- 1. I don’t care how far you are, you do not cric someone in an ambulance while it’s moving. 2. I don’t care how sick the pt is, there’s no reason to go 90 in an ambulance. Pointless endeavor if you all die to save 45 seconds. 3. Nobody degrades paramedics more than Harry.
