Just talked to Mr. Funk & he’s doing okay. He just wanted to wish @JonMoxley & @KennyOmegamanX the best of luck in their exploding barbed wire match. He says the match is a good way for @AEW to wake up Vince with a good kick in his ass. He wants you to know he’s pulling for you!

Just talked to Mr. Funk about this and he said to Tweet… “Well ain’t that a pisser. I appreciate the honor and I appreciate everyone who works over there. That magazine has done a lot for my career over the years.”
We're delighted to announce the 2021 recipients of PWI's Stanley Weston Award for Lifetime Achievement in pro wrestling. This year, our most prestigious award goes to Terry Funk and Ron Simmons. Today, we honor these two legends for their myriad contributions to the sport.

Mr. Funk stands with you, Dionne Warwick!
Do you think I care what younger generations say about me? I will wear this fanny pack. Who cares.

Mr. Funk asked me to Tweet this about the passing of Tracy Smothers... "He reached a level of in-ring capability that I hadn’t seen many guys do.He was a good guy and cancer is not a good way to go. I hate to see it. God bless you, Tracy. It hurts when any one of us goes."

Mr. Funk says he's feeling good today but is sad to hear of Bobby Eaton's passing. "Bobby was almost from a different era. He was a good person & a good in-ring performer. He mostly stayed around territories like Florida & Tennessee but he was happy there & happy with those fans."
