    We are delighted to announce that the first patient will be treated at the UK’s first @NHSEngland high energy proton beam therapy centre this month. This is a major milestone in cancer care - patients will benefit hugely from having this national service available in Manchester.

    Mason Kettley is one of our first patients to be treated in our new proton beam therapy centre for a brain tumour. He said: “I’m nervous about what is going to happen, but I’m also excited to start this treatment. I’m so grateful to all the doctors involved in my care."
