Please help me honor Command Sergeant Major Martin Barreras, a true American hero who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. On May 6, 2014, while on patrol in Herat Province, Afghanistan, CSM Barreras was wounded in a fierce firefight with enemy forces. He passed away a - Going to brag about my wife for a sec: She is a furloughed Department of the Army Civilian. She spent this week buying groceries for a few food insecure families on post. I think that’s pretty badass.
