- I was raised Zionist. You could literally find pictures of childhood me in an IOF tshirt. I only came to understand that Zionism as we know it IS violence during my PhD. It’s embarrassing that it took so long, but it’s also never too late for a paradigm shift.Just like every other Jewish American I know, I was raised Zionist- even in my ‘progressive’ Jewish community 17 yrs ago when I was educated on what was really happening in Palestine, I became anti-zionist & joined the 🇵🇸 solidarity movement. You too can make that decision today
