- The GotY win for Baldur's Gate 3 is a huge moment for Larian and the industry, especially when you know Larian's history This is a studio that has been screwed over by publishers many times, that went fully independent to make great games w/o compromise Congrats @larianstudios !
- People seem to miss the fact that NOBODY knew how popular BG3 was going to be. This game is a) a sequel to a 25 year old game b) in a comparatively niche genre and c) by a developer that, whilst indie darlings, were still indie. - So many people I've talked to lately are surprised that you don't have to be evil on a BG3 Dark Urge playthrough Dark Urge =/= Evil by default In fact, my canon BG3 experience is Dark Urge but trying to resist the urge and do good. (Bg1+2 fans will understand why I think this)
