The budget for Mission Impossible 7 was so high because Cruise insisted on paying the entire crew through Covid. If the reason the budget for this film is so high is because he did the same thing through the strike, that should be applauded, not villainized.The budget for ‘MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 8’ is near $400M Paramount is interested in marketing the film as the final entry in the franchise to boost audience interest but Tom Cruise is against a public goodbye to the character.
