Went to NorthWest IdolFest this weekend in Seattle! Had a blast seeing all the idol performances and DJing with the @animiraiclub crew! It was great finally seeing what the West Coast idol scene has to offer. Best of luck to NWIF staff on moving locations next year, I'll be back!

Sigh... another event marketed as "spinning anime hits all night long" playing little to no anisong. One of the DJs spun Gurenge, everyone popped off, but then it was all normal EDM from there. Usually I wouldn't put events like these on blast but the marketing was bait 🧵

Otakon this year has been easily the busiest I've been at a con, from DJing AniParty's events Thursday and Friday night, to staffing the Yeah Lights booth, to prepping the Aniwaza wotagei workshop, it's been a tiring but fun weekend. And yes, that's me in the Keqing cosplay.

Is this what happens when a whole generation of eventers only went to lives during COVID? If I'm not blocking people's view, I see no issue with cycloning. I go to lives for the audience's energy - if I see people showing their love for the performers, I'll have a lot more fun.

ACen 2024 is a wrap! It's been a while since I've had so much to do at a con. Getting to meet HiroMaya was a dream come true, had the chance to meet Win Morisaki, Sally's panels were hilarious, and I ate way too much deep dish pizza. Definitely coming back again next year!

So much happened this weekend at AX! It was great running wotagei workshops, injecting chikagei and mix culture into anikura events, and making a bunch of new friends. I have a feeling I'll be coming back more often to the West Coast next year, since some plans are forming...

Got to see YOASOBI in Boston tonight! The crowd was pretty energetic, and the no penlights rule wasn't enforced(at least for my group), so we were able to smuggle some penlights and UOs in. The visuals were insane, especially the 3D part! Hoping for another US tour eventually!

OffSeason was so fun tonight turning the whole concert into an anikura, doing a ton of wotagei, screwing around with the DJ decks after, and doing this all on a WW2-era aircraft carrier. Everyone I met tonight was super chill. Hoping to go to more events like these in the future!
