    Class 3A Lone Star Cup for Region I. Brock was the overall winner with Holliday following at 2nd and Shallowater at 3rd. Jim Ned (8) and Bushland (9) rounded out the top 10. 5 Region I teams in the top 10 is a testament to the talented students in Regon I.

    Vance Ott, Coahoma High School junior wheel chair athlete, learned on Tuesday that he qualified for the 2021 UIL state meet in three events — 100 meter dash, 400 meter dash, and shot put. Congratulations Vance!!

    As far as I'm concerned, any "Gun Free Zones" should be required by law to have some sort of metal detector and security to screen everyone who enters the building. This is tragic.

    With 1 event left, in which they are competing, the Brock Eagles have won the State Championship. Dallas Oak Cliff is 22 points behind them with the 4x400 left. CONGRATULATIONS to Region I's BROCK EAGLES
