    My 93-year-old grandmother hasn’t left the house since last Sunday. She’s got plenty of food and supports - but it’s still lonely waiting out the virus, especially as a widow with no one else around. Long story short: give your older relatives a ring. They’ll appreciate it.

    My mom would have turned 66 today; she passed away at 48. Was thinking tonight about how much losing a parent as a teenager has shaped my adult worldview - none of us (none of us!) know how long we have. So I say we should try to live worthwhile lives and be good to each other!
