- The thing people often don’t talk about in teaching is how much of it is a performance. No matter what’s going on in your life you stand up in front of those kids and perform and if you’re ill or something challenging is going on in your personal life, that’s exhausting.
- I’m still thinking about #Adolescence this morning. Ep 3 was so impactful but no-one’s talking about the guard who kept following Briony around, bothering her, whilst she’s trying to do her job. Another example of intimidating male behaviour that is so subtle it gets ignored.
- Soooooo many posts about how Jamie is “troubled”. He’s not “troubled”, the show goes to great lengths to show you how intelligent he is (comments from his teachers in ep 1), what a normal family he’s from. He’s not troubled, he’s been radicalised online. #Adolescence
- Hey @Tesco while your food prices keep rising and rising your goods seem to be getting worse and worse. Almost every single potato was rotted in this bag & we had to go out and buy more. This isn’t the first time either, the quality has been getting abysmal over time.
