Surprise call that mom is in ICU-has minutes left. Against all odds she held out 5 hours so I could drive & say bye, died 10 minutes later.

- I AM vaccinated. I did NOT vote for Donald Trump. I mention that bc we r in this stupid place as a country where if I critique Biden, his Admin, vaccine mandates or stupid mask standards, I’m “Anti-Vax, MAGA, Anti-science, Trump supporter”.🤯🤦🏻♂️ I’m for HONESTY & COMMON SENSE!🤷🏻♂️
- I told my wife I’d have only 1 reason for divorce, if she cheated on me. Well, I hadn’t thought that through properly. Putting my son in Duck gear is a 2nd reason. She was warned, and this hat was returned back to the rack! Marriage still in tact, though it’s been damaged!😂
- Had a great talk today with @PlayerProMorgan, the new Director of Player Personnel for UW. Heard some really encouraging things for recruiting. I’m always willing to be a great advocate for any program, especially my Alma Mater! Excited about the future Husky Nation!👏🏻
- The reason people love @Softykjr is because he’s passionate & genuine. Who cares where someone did or didn’t go to school?! Who cares if they did or didn’t play?! Softy is more Husky than most Huskies I played with! He’s everything good about this industry!💯Replying to @SoftykjrDude….You put way too much emotional capital into the football team of a school you never attended. Kinda weird.
- Told my mom won’t live thru the hour, and I’m still 45 minutes from hospital 😪 Hoping 2 get there before she goes 🙏🏻
- Last thing about my UW visit today. I had heard nothing but great things about @CoachShephard as a coach & person. He is all of that and some!💯 When you come across the great ones and the real ones in this industry, you just know. Easy to see why players & recruits like him!
- White People: YOU CANNOT SAY THE N WORD! “ER” ending means you’re blatantly & disgustingly racist. “A” ending means you are ignorantly racist. I don’t care how “cool” you think you are with your black friends. Can’t say it. Never. Ever.
- My son was the worst player on his flag team for his 1st year. Some games he never got the ball. I never once complained to his coach. I taught him lessons on our car rides home. You want to be better, work! This year he was top 3 on his team. He learned to work & focus on self!
- Appreciate @PlayerProMorgan & @UW_Football staff having @TFordFSP & I to the offices today. Met & talked to some great coaches. The vibe & energy in that building is infectious! We had a great meeting overall, lots of exciting things in the works. #BowDown
- Athletes: @DougBaldwinJr signs a huge contract & the next day is grinding. Results come after the work, not before!
- Husky Nation, I don’t take it lightly that I can be here at this game today. I am soaking in every minute of this!💯 I wish I could see the literal sea of 70,000 people in purple & gold. It feels strange. Whether here or at home, let’s watch the Dawgs handle biz at 5pm tonight!
