My 8 year old did not have school today and so she came to the law school.
Halfway through a class that I am teaching, she silently holds this sign in front of her.
Do not tell my female law students they need to “smile more” as professional feedback. It’s inappropriate. If you need more women in your life to smile, this is an issue that you should address in your own personal life. Or in therapy.

Husband reminded 5 year old of the household rule that no toys are allowed in the kitchen.
She is now arguing with him that it is “a norm not a rule.”
This is a proud mama moment.

My student was in the middle of taking the Nebraska bar exam today, a proctor interrupted her exam to take her temperature, she tested at 101, and she was escorted from the exam. (And no, she does not have Covid.)
