    Brian, 84, 'Hyde born and bred' didn't go out for over 15 weeks at the start of the pandemic & was looking forward to being amongst the first to receive the COVID Vaccine this morning in Hyde. He is a Cancer and Stroke survivor & says he has a lot to be grateful to our NHS for.

    Congratulations to Pauline Town who has been recognised with a BBC Everyday Hero Award. Our community safety team nominated Pauline for her voluntary work - she provides over 80 packed lunches a day to support local homeless & vulnerable people! #ProudTameside #Hiddenheroes
