This #TVnews business is… interesting. 🙄 Nexstar advertising a breaking news reporter job in Washington DC (market #8) at $20-25/hour. That’s $41,600-52,000 per year. You ever spend a weekend in DC let alone try to live there on $41K a year? 😂

When I first started teaching at PSU 8 years ago it was a Pres. election year. On election night I did what any good news manager does— bought a ton of pizza for the newsroom. My students were horrified when this showed up. I learned there’s a time and a place for Canyon 😂 🍕
