We at the Trans Pride Brighton Committee would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who showed up to the protest march and to the events around Brighton yesterday. We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up despite the many many setbacks we’ve all had to deal with this
5 members of the trans pride committee take a selfie with two other protestors. They smile with a crown of protestors behind them.

Really disappointed to see the BBC banning employees from our beautiful event. The real lives of trans, non-binary and intersex people are not a political issue, this is a dangerous and slippery slope. #TransRightsAreHumanRights
    Replying to @benjaminbutter
Asked for clarity on confusion, BBC said pride is fine if it is seen as a “a celebration”, but if the “trans issue" (as it was described) is involved then it passes as a protest and news and current affairs staff should not attend.

We'd like to express our support to anybody who has been affected by anti-trans protests at London Pride today Our policy is to not engage directly with anti-trans protesters. TPB is working hard to keep every single one of our guests safe and secure.
