- ⚠️CLOSE CALL. #TMFR Brush Engine 44 on scene earlier today as #LoyaltonFire jumped HWY 395 with vehicles stuck on the road. The crew provided protection and got the vehicles out of harms way. No injuries.
00:00 - #TMFR crews responded to a report of an injured bear off of Granite Ridge Road in Washoe Valley. NV Dept of Wildlife was immediately notified. The bear was badly hurt with burnt paws and burn marks around his face and mouth.
- #DavisFire Quick Facts- Evening of September 11, 2024 5,824 acres 37% contained 631 Personnel Aircraft operations were grounded after 9:00 AM due to winds reaching 40-60 MPH on the ridges, yet the fire remained in check. Firefighters will continue to work through the night.

- One year ago, our friend Jeremy Renner suffered a catastrophic injury that nearly ended his life. Our skilled firefighters/paramedics from Station 39 responded first to the scene and took action that contributed to saving his life. Today he visited our crews to express gratitude.
- During wildfires, incident personnel and crews come from across the country to help. From Alaska to Florida, these people have come to support the community of Reno and the surrounding areas. States in orange are the home states of personnel on the Davis Fire.
