- THP Motor units will be back on the Memphis roadways today! This is one violator that was stopped yesterday for traveling 105 MPH in a 55 MPH zone on I240.

- THP Memphis District was well respresented at the THSO Awards Dinner tonight. At the end of the night, one very special award was given. Lt. Cary Hopkins, who is retiring after 34 years, was presented with the THSO Lifetime Achievement Award for his efforts in highway safety.
- One of the Troopers stopped this vehicle last night on Interstate 269. 124 MPH in a 65 MPH zone!
- How fast do you normally drive on Interstate 40 near Watkins? One of the @THPMemphis Troopers stopped this motorist for traveling 108 in a 65 MPH zone!
- Capt. Johnson presented a check from the Tennessee State Troopers Association to the Mississppi Highway Patrol for the family of fallen Trooper John Harris.
- One good lesson that our I-240 Memphis drivers have learned during all this is that their vehicles will still function and are driveable at less than 80MPH. Let’s make this a habit. How bout it?
- This driver thought that it was okay to drive through Fayette Co. at this speed on I-40. There’s no excuse! #SlowDown
