Young DL don’t need to focus on pass rushing as much as working on a functional stance and playing the run.
Ask most college freshmen DL what keep them off the field as freshmen…not capable of playing the run! Not is said Tank! Got more work to do with some of the kids though.

HS DL schools coaches stop trying to teach incoming freshmen how to pass rush like Aaron Donald! The drills most of these trainers post is tailored for pro guys! Those kids only need 2 or 3 pass rush move tops. Mainly focus on run downs and play action pass rushes!
It’s the stepping over the bag part I’m not a fan of! It creates bad habits with that super long step. Got to get that first step down in the ground, can’t do that if you’re in the air! Other then that banging drill!
It’s essential for D-Linemen to develop an explosive 1st step and generate power off the line of scrimmage
