- Confirmed shooting at the Destiny USA mall. One male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. Non life threatening. Suspect not located . Avoid food court area

- We have seen the use of force video involving our officers circulating the internet. As with all use of force incidents, the matter is being reviewed.
- We are requesting assistance in a missing person. Allan Gonzalez, 22, last seen 1/18/2020 at 1223 James St. May have taken an Uber to Armory Square / Al’s Whiskey & Wine Bar. If anyone has seen him or has any info, please call 442-5222. Allen is 5'11, 175lbs, blk hair & brn eyes.
- The funeral services for Officer Michael Jensen are as follows: Mass of Christian Burial: Saturday, April 20th, 11 a.m. - 12 p.m., Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist Church, 210 E. Dominick Street, Rome, NY
- There will be many Police Officers today within the City of Syracuse to facilitate safe and peaceful demonstrations. If you see something, say something. Follow the SPD Twitter page for further information throughout the day.
- There will be a media briefing regarding a shooting with injuries incident involving law enforcement officers at Sarah Lougen Street and Harrison Street at 12:40 a.m.
- Out of an abundance of caution, Destiny USA is temporarily closed to the public as the Syracuse Police Department and other law enforcement partners investigate a potential threat. The safety and security of visitors, employees, and tenants remain our highest priority.
