    Imagine you are a chinese Boy. You have two parents with stable jobs and a brother. You went to kindergarten, primary school, express stream and then JC. At 15, you found out you were gay. You kept it a secret from everyone but a few friends. Still, it wasnt enough.

    Trying to stop homophobia only is like putting a band aid on the wound. Not bothering to unlearn racism and misogyny, or acting like you are immune to both only worsens the injury. I dont deny your life is hard but it wasnt made harder by your race. Brown people's ones were.

    let that happen to future artists? Tell to hide or risk their careers. Only allow them a coming out after their death or wane from popularity so the public can ignore them and maintain straightness. deny queer people our right to history. All of this informs how I view gaylorism.
