    We're aware of an inaccurate Tweet claiming nurses have died in our ITU department. This is false. Can we ask people please check their facts before posting or sharing inaccurate information. This is really important at any time, but especially now.

    We are aware of an inaccurate Tweet circulating making claims of nurse deaths in our ITU department. This claim is incorrect. No nurses have died in our ITU.

    In direct response to retired doctor Peter Hilton’s comments in correspondence with The Times, 55 consultants – some of who worked with Dr Hilton – have come together proactively to reject his views in the strongest possible terms.

    Family, friends and colleagues of Jenelyn Carter gathered to remember her at Morriston Hospital today. The moving and beautiful memorial service was live streamed to her family in the Philippines. Jenelyn, 41, passed away last week from COVID-19.

    We have had reports that inner ear thermometers and bottles of hand sanitiser gel have gone missing from our hospitals. Neath Port Talbot Hospital has lost four thermometers. We believe visitors are responsible. PLEASE STOP taking supplies from our sites. We need them.
