- Yes, it was 42 years ago today that I first hit the air hosting horror films as “ Son of Svengoolie”! Who would have guessed that today we’d be visible all over the country, with the show a major success for MeTV?! Many thanks to everyone who has believed in and supported me!❤️
- To confirm- today IS the 43rd anniversary of me beginning my career as the Svengoolie character , starting out on WFLD in Chicago. Thanks to my friends and fans for your loyal support that has brought us to this point!❤️
- Today I got a message on the Svengoolie fan page on Facebook ( yeah, we still have that) informing me that he was unfollowing me because my crew and I have gotten “too woke”.
- Dr. Banner/ Hulk Mark Ruffalo telling me he used to watch me, with his dad, when he lived in Kenosha! What a nice guy!
- In memory of my mother, Sara, who passed away recently at the age of 89. We love her and miss her.
- Just got an e mail from a guy complaining about the terrible movies we’ve been showing , like “ The Invisible Man”- and how he and all his friends feel that way, and we’re losing viewers. Meanwhile, in the real world, our ratings nationally have never been higher.
- Today marks 14 years that we have been broadcast nationally on the MeTV network! Thanks for all the support from viewers across the country!
- A personal bright spot today for me- today marks 9 years that our show has been on the national MeTV network. Thanks for your support! Stay safe- be well- and let’s get through this. Sven loves you!

- I remember, back when they first started running “ It’s a Wonderful Life” all over TV- I was having a rough time in my life. It gave me new hope.wishing you all the same feeling- Merry Christmas- happy holidays- thank you all for your friendship and support.
- Remembering my brother Mike- who passed away just shy of his next birthday, which would have been next Saturday. He was an assistant film editor and a good guy.
