Remember as days get colder animals are attracted to the warmth of cars so check wheel arches or other hiding places

If you decided to film the collision scene on the M25 with your phone as you drove past us today...we thought we'd let you know you weren't the only ones filming! Expect a letter through the post inviting you to receive 6 points and a £200 fine.

Dear Liz, Cyclists, horse riders and mobility scooter users can use any part of the lane they are in. A more central position in the lane will often dissuade bad drivers from poor / dangerous overtakes Good drivers plan safe over takes and have no issue with others road position

For all the motorists that moan about being delayed by a minute or two before they can overtake a cyclist or horse rider... Footage from a motorway, where there are no cyclists or horse riders. The vast majority of delays are caused by motorists.

Hi Peter. A competent and safe driver will be able to plan a safe and legal overtake when the opportunity arises. At most you’d likely be delayed by a minute or so. If you’re cutting it that close to make it to work, set your alarm earlier. Drive safe and legal.

Whilst on enquiries last night in Fulwell, near Twickenham, a cyclist thought it was a good idea to contravene a red traffic light - right in front of the #VanguardRST. Cyclist stopped and reported for the offence.

Anger management classes are available if you feel it would help. If you get so angry when delayed when driving, then you might want to consider a different mode of transport and return your licence to the DVLA, as the vast majority of delays are caused by motorists.

Stopped on the M3 for remaining in lane 2 for over a mile when lane 1 was completely empty. #MiddleLaneHog #KeepLeftUnlessOvertaking

Driver of this BMW X1 was dawdling in lane 2 for no reason. He ignored the “DO NOT HOG MIDDLE LANE” message displayed to him from our Police car, so was stopped and dealt with for the offence of driving without due care. He already has 9 points. 🤦‍♂️ Keep left, unless overtaking

If you’re needing to ask that question, the honest answer is: 4. return your driving licence to the DVLA.

How have you turned this into a discussion about high viz? We have cars covered in it and big flashy lights and drivers STILL don’t see us.

‘Road tax’ doesn’t exist anymore. It was abolished in 1937. It’s now a Vehicle Excise Duty (VED), or an Emissions Tax. Roads are paid for out of general taxation (council/income + VAT etc) Those that don’t pollute, don’t pay. The more you pollute, the more you pay.
