The Sunderland Sunday League would like to announce that after talks between Total Sport and Richard Jordan's family, it has been decided to rename the Total Sport Trophy.
From this season on it will be known as The Richard Jordan Memorial Trophy.

- We are deeply saddened and shocked to hear about the passing of Richard Jordan. He was a talented footballer as well as a great lad and he will be truly missed. Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family, friends and everyone who knew him. Rest in peace Richard 😢
- The league will no longer be accepting applications for the 2020-21 season as we now have 64 teams - the most amount of teams we have had for a few years! We look forward to getting started whenever that may be ⚽️⚽️⚽️
- We will be donating all Total Sport Challenge Cup entry fees and all money raised at all of this seasons cup finals to Jay McLaren’s fiancé & family. RIP Jay

- Football is coming back again and all fixtures will be on the league website in a few days time ⚽️⚽️⚽️
- Here is the league formation for the 2020/21 season - amazing to have ended up with 68 teams.
- Replying to @SunderlandSLIt will be sponsored by Total Sport and a new Trophy provided. All proceeds raised from this Cup will be donated to Richard's family.
