- Great won in Tullamore in Leinster Championship. Summerhill 1-9 Tullamore 1-7. A Kevin Ryan goal in 56 minutes seals the win. Game ended in confusion with ref awarding a penalty to Tullamore in the 67th minute before changing his mind and awarding a 14m free.

- Congratulations to Mark O'Reilly who was part of the 1999 @MeathGAA All Ireland winning team who were honoured in Croke Park today before the All Ireland Final. Mark was man of the match in that Final and won an All Star that year too.
