    I came across a brilliant quotation today in بيان القرآن في الخوف امنٌ و في الأمن خوفٌ There is "safety in fear" and "fear in safety". I.E. Safety lies in fearing the punishment of Allah and there is great fear for the one who feels safe from the punishment of Allah.

    Amongst the many beauties of Islaam is the different avenues through which you can attain the pleasure of Allah. Smile with a child. Assist the elderly. Grant grace to the debtor. If the above is not possible, just don't hurt anyone, and that could be your ticket to Paradise.

    A friend of mine went on a strict diet and started shedding weight swiftly. I asked him, how do you sustain it ? He replied: The joy of standing on the scale keeps me inspired. If only the believer could focus on the scale of the hereafter, "shedding sin " would become easy.

    Paradise is the only place from which no one will seek relocation. لا يبغون عنها حِولا They (dwellers of Jannah) will not seek a transfer from it. Chapter 18- verse 108. The excitement of every other place (home or holiday) has a subtle expiry date.
