Still blows my mind that Elmo, Grover and Kermit were all legitimate, relatively common names before the muppets made it impossible to name your child that. There was a president named Grover! Theodore Roosevelt's son was named Kermit! Now that's truly leaving a mark on culture- The other day I had a viral tweet where I said what people are doing to queer folk now is similar to how Jews were slandered before the holocaust I still think of one reply to that tweet: "Except Jews don't mutilate kids" & I'm like buddy What do you think they said about Jews
