#Sneckdown & #Daylighting! Looking certain for a weekend snow event in the northeast with a foot+ predicted for DC, Philly, NYC, etc. A great time to document how we can put traffic calming (daylighting!) on our streets using "nature's tracing paper"! Get BEFORE photos now!

So let me get this straight: NYC is cracking down on $2.75 fare evasion (done by mostly young people & poor) but NOT do anything about NYPD officers & city workers who are purposefully altering their licenses plates so they can skip $10+ tolls & red light/speed camera tix?

Been watching Season 4 of “Westworld” which features a nearly car-free future NYC abounding with pedestrianized streets. (2 main characters even walked from lower Manhattan to Jersey over a landbridge) This tracking shot over Broadway has just green & plazas! Good job HBO!

Right now, 70% of the people on Fifth Avenue are pedestrians but they can only use less than HALF of the space! That's going to change under the plan we rolled out to completely transform Fifth Avenue into a WORLD-CLASS pedestrian-centered boulevard. Learn more:

I’ve said this ever since moving to NYC 34 years ago - we spend so much $$$ as a city to babysit drivers and subsidize illegal driving/block boxing. Drivers get so much for free the rest of society.

If it takes 4 city employees to babysit drivers at this intersection, drivers should have to pay $1 fee to pass it. It’s not complicated.
