- Has to be one of the most boring un dynamic sets I have ever seen headline! So much auto tune on the vocal that the vowels get mangled and you can’t hear a word. Yeah, I might be male, pale and stale but I know a f*ck up when I see one.Glastonbury have messed up big time here. Barely anyone here #SZA
- I have very fond memories of making Strangeways. The vibe was incredibly positive. No idea of what was about to happen next. Nice to see all 5 of us in the some shot. It’s the only one I think!Making a masterpiece 😎 Strangeways, here we come
- I’ve just read this tweet from @matosman and I am so saddened to hear this news! Andy was a superb musician and a lovely guy. I haven’t been able to read any other news about details yet but I send my deepest condolences and thoughts to his friends and family. RIP #AndyRourkeAw man. RIP Andy Rourke. A total one-off - a rare bassist whose sound you could recognise straight away. I remember so clearly playing that Barbarism break over and over, trying to learn the riff, and marvelling at this steely funk driving the track along. (pic - K Cummins)

- Just want to say, I will be eternally grateful to @Johnny_Marr @officialmoz @mikejoycedrums @AndyRourkeMusic for giving me a chance as a young engineer to work with them on their recordings. We made records that made a difference. You can't beat that! x
- The furore over the Blur/Oasis ‘war’ and the video for Country House soured the release of this album for me. However, over time I’ve come to appreciate there is some great music on it (not least The Universal) and I’m very proud of it!On this day in 1995, @blurofficial released their fourth studio album, The Great Escape. Produced by @StreetStephen the album reached number 1 in the UK album charts and was loaded with the superb singles Country House, The Universal, Stereotypes & Charmless Man.
- A fantastic album. I remember listening to it whilst recording Meat Is Murder and thinking ‘this is how high the bar has been set’.Happy 40th birthday to Rattlesnakes
