- Excited to announce that I will be interning at @nvidia research this summer on robotics/embodied AI! I’ll be in seattle for the summer, let me know if you want to meet up and chat! 🦾
- this was on my instagram today lmaoo open source robots are taking over my social media content 😂Day 1 of teaching my desk robot how to fold laundry! Robot folding laundry FTW! What would you use this robot for?
00:00 - AI/ML phd admissions are ridiculous reddit.com/r/MachineLearn… In undergrad I had 1 first author, 2 other accepted papers, 1 workshop co first author papers (albeit not my best work tbh) at ICLR/ICML/NeurIPS, ran one of the biggest RL competitions and still felt lucky to get offers
- so far Genesis is the one of the most feature rich simulators out there, combining many many things and makes for a great general data gen platform. Unfortunately it's still some distance away from supporting fast & stable simulation for most things, including basic manipulation

03:26Everything you love about generative models — now powered by real physics! Announcing the Genesis project — after a 24-month large-scale research collaboration involving over 20 research labs — a generative physics engine able to generate 4D dynamical worlds powered by a physics - if this is the state of quadruped locomotion then what do people working on quadruped locomotion still research now?
00:00 - Yesterday the hyped Genesis simulator released. But it's up to 10x slower than existing GPU sims, not 10-80x faster or 430,000x faster than realtime since they benchmark mostly static environments blog post with corrected open source benchmarks & details:
- Replying to @MarioBalukcicautomation is a lot of what engineers do, and this game is all about that. It’s like crack for engineers but as a game It’s also one of the first of its genre (or the first to be well made at least), and has spawned a ton of other games in the automation genre.
- lol same here, but glad I decided to continue my PhD and work in embodied AI instead. Was even more excited about how Cursor would grow after chatting with them, insanely cracked teamWorst financial decision in history
- See the reference, she mentions it in a interview
- Every fund raise and we get people posting “generational wealth loss” again. Can I claim a record for being one of the earliest people they reached out to 😂 (If I joined I would have been maybe employee #5-7?) Cursor has changed the world, congratulations on the series D!happy 'missed another opportunity to create generational wealth' day to those who celebrate :)
