    The word imperialism didn’t appear once on my undergraduate IR syllabus. We were told theories of imperialism were not (/ no longer) relevant to world politics. Almost half of my IR students made imperialism the crux of their final essay this year.

    Massive numbers out protesting LSE’s withdrawal from Stonewall, a decision that pathetically caves to far-right, anti-trans pressures. Stonewall was the university’s only independent protection for LGBT+ students and staff.
