- After music, Toby Keith's passion was racing & breeding with his Dream Walkin Farms winning close to 1,000 races over 20+ years w/ The Von Hemels, Bret Calhoun, Ted West, Kenny Smith, Nick Zito, others. Home breds Smack Smack & Cactus Ridge were his best. A sad loss for the game.
- It will be easy to acknowledge how much Chuck Simon is loved and respected by his peers, industry professionals, fellow horseplayers and fans. It will be impossible to replace his passion, intelligence and mirth in all of our lives, as none of us ever knew anyone like him.. 💔
- All horses 'deserve' to break their maiden, but Kid Chocolate seemed extra worthy. He worked through ridgling issues and gelding, then tieback surgery. Below at Saratoga, he provides glee for my childhood friend @sl963852's daughter Annalee. THX to all involved in Sunday's win..
