Very little in the world would keep me from broadcasting the Championship race from Phoenix. Well…. Apparently an emergency appendectomy has done the trick. Thank you to Saint Joseph’s hospital and everyone who helped me out.

- As I go to bed tonight I am thankful.... So very thankful that my buddy @DaleJr his wonderful bride @AmyEarnhardt and their sweet little Isla are safe. Our days here are not guaranteed. They should be cherished. I am blessed to have great family and friends and I love them all.
- I asked my daughter. Is it Thursday? Her response: “Dad we are living that stay at home life. There are only 3 day weeks. Today, tomorrow and yesterday.” Makes sense to me. 🤷🏼♂️
- Days of Thunder Update #1... 1) I have talked to a race car like that. I do think it helps. 2) Matched tires are really better. And magic sets do exist, but u don’t know when you’ll get them 3) Racing back to the yellow was even a poor idea in the movies. Solid rule change

- Days of Thunder update #2 1) I thought it was sugar... It was sweet and low... & drafting has never been clearer 2) I think I had those Daytona rental cars a few years ago 🚗 💥 3) The Daytona 500 is awesome in real life and the movies.. Full movie review Monday on the DJD.
