- Don't care to hear the 'They-didn't-want-to-be-here' narrative. BYU wanted to win this game. UAB was better today.
- Was in the Protective Stadium watching the parade of athletes come in. They announce the country as they enter. The athletes from Georgia were announced. Dude behind me started barking. Guess that's what they get for holding it in SEC country.
- UAB radio sideline reporter Landrum Roberts reporting that UAB WR Brandon Buckhaulter, who left the field on a cart, has movement in all of his extremities.
- UAB us playing in its first football conference championship game on Saturday. You would think that's a big enough event to warrant daily coverage from a local media outlet. Am I wrong?
- A program that didn't field a team five seasons ago had the chance today to earn a third consecutive trip to a conference championship game. Let that soak in a minute. @UAB_FB
- What Andy Kennedy and his UAB staff pulled off in recruiting would have been impressive with a full recruiting cycle. They've done it in about two months. Incredible.
- In case you haven't noticed, 'The Home of the UAB Blazers' is beautiful. Just saying.
- Am I wrong to think that a publication claiming to cover UAB football should do a story when the No. 1 JUCO WR recruit in the country commits to the Blazers? Asking for a friend.
- I'm hearing, from sources, that a possibility for UAB job is former NFL QB Trent Dilfer, who is head coach at Lipscomb Academy in Nashville and has never coached in college.
- Where has @CoachAK13 taken his UAB basketball program in a short 3 years? They just won a school record 29 games and yet there is a what-could-have been feel to the season. To me, that's the sign of a program on the rise. Got a lot of important pieces to fill now.
- Typical Memphis. Spent the entire week whining about how they are too good for the current AAC. Then go out on the field and lose. All talk.
