Some personal news this morning: I have tested positive for Covid-19. I'm lucky, so far I only feel exhaustion, congestion and no sense of taste, nothing else. Of course I will be staying at home and self-isolating.

- I'm about to go on air on @Radio702 for the very last time. This is my last drive show. I can't actually describe how I feel, it's been such a wonderful ride with so many wonderful people. Thank you all, for welcoming me, crying with me, and laughing with me.
- It’s an incredibly sad day for me to leave @Radio702 . I’ve been with the station and @ewnreporter for so long, it’s been my home, my family, for so much of my life. And I’ve learnt so much, and watched so much history happen. But I’m excited about the future, and my place in it.
- I’m excited to confirm that I’m rejoining @Radio702 and @567CapeTalk after the departure of radio legend Bruce Whitfield! So many of our debates will now turn to our economy and there is no better place for them than The Money Show.
- The Zondo Commission has found that former President Jacob Zuma, Energy Minister and ANC Chair Gwede Mantashe and former Minister Nomvula Mokonyane should be charged with corruption. What should President Cyril Ramaphosa do? What will he do? #SAfmSunrise @SAfmRadio
- As we are hit again by Stage 6 load shedding, Standard Bank CEO Sim Tshabalala says we should consider an international candidate to take over from Andre de Ruyter at Eskom. Should we consider someone from outside South Africa? #SAfmSunrise @SAfmRadio
- I’m at the RMB “Where to Invest in Africa” report launch. Prof Adrian Saville: If your company is doing well but the society around it is stuttering, then you’re running an extractive enterprise. Fascinating point.
- Cities like Joburg and Cape Town want to procure their own electricity, to reduce their reliance on Eskom. This would change the national grid dramatically. Should cities take over power production and distribution? #SAfmSunrise @SAfmRadio
- And in some personal news....I’m joining @Newzroom405 from next year. But remaining, of course, on @SAfmRadio
- Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga has asked unions if teachers should still be paid if schools are closed again. Should teachers be paid while staying at home? Is it their fault? Should they share the pain everyone else is feeling? @SAfmRadio #SafmSunrise
- I think that some who are frustrated with the slow pace of the "fruitful" talks between Ramaphosa &Zuma are missing important points. Ramaphosa needs to get Zuma out, and keep the ANC together. A month after JZ is gone, who is going to care how long it took?
- The student who received R14-million and didn’t return it, Sibongile Mani, has been elected Treasurer of the convocation committee of Walter Sisulu University. She is currently appealing a conviction for theft. Would you trust her with money? #SAfmSunrise @SAfmRadio
- I presume you will pay any money you received through this contract to an organisation that promotes reconciliation.
- I’m honoured to have had the chance to present #SAfmSunrise for over six years and I’m sad to be leaving @safmradio. It’s been the most incredible privilege to speak to the nation every morning and to be a part of the national debate.
