- Well, Cardi wasn’t officially invited by Vogue to the Met. She was yet again, invited by Instagram, who sponsored a table, and was then approved by Vogue to attend. Having worked at Meta, specifically on the Met Gala, I know how it works. She’s been invited by IG 3yrs running.

- What makes me laugh about this, is that rap wasn’t the dominate genre. Pop was. Hip-hop was on life support. And within rap, female rap was nonexistent for YEARS. THE GENRE WAS DEAD. Nicki single-handedly REVIVED IT. So, she couldn’t have competition. She WAS THE COMPETITION.
