- As some of you may know I got into Pokemon as a way to cope after my mom passed away in 2016, and I never expected how far it would take me. This weekend was mother's day and the anniversary of her passing which is usually a really hard time for me 1/2
- It has been legitimately impossible to keep up with all of the tweets and messages I've been receiving after such a big weekend. But I just wanted to say that by far the best part of this trip has been the overwhelming love and support from my friends and community members ❤️
- 33/1221 with etern weezing. The deck cheap, easy to play, and fun. Not sure if I would change any cards just yet. Matchups below.
- Please don't use the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the DQ this weekend as an excuse to be transphobic. Put some thought into what you are saying before pressing send tweet 🙂
- Cost of regionals at an all time high Attendance at an all time high Prizing at an all time the same
- If we are going to be consistently getting 1000+ person regionals I think that Pokémon needs to increase prizing. Paying $70 for a tournament, making day 2, playing 15 rounds, and getting nothing feels so bad. Miss when top64 used to get $250, top32 $500 etc.
- One thing about Pokémon that I like, is that they are marketing toward the younger generation; naming pokemon things like "chonk" and "smol" & having a character that's a streamer. So if you're 30 years old and think that's lame, then maybe realize this isn't tailored to you.
- Literally 3 people had to swallow their pride and ask for financial assistance attending worlds. Then an onslaught of people decided they needed to comment on it, because apparently they think their opinion is so important it's worth dragging other people down over. Grow up
