I’ve enjoyed all the Bundesliga games so far, but Dortmund-Bayern was the first in which I truly lost myself in the game and didn’t think that much about the circumstances in which the match was being played. Shame Haaland had to come off. Thought Boateng play was a pen.

- Nice gesture by Messi letting Coutinho take that penalty after he got robbed of a goal by the referee. But Suarez loses out on an assist!
- I’ve decided I’m naming my first kid Jadon. And it works for a boy or a girl. Second best young player in the world behind Mbappe. Love watching him so much.
- I like Fabinho so much I would’ve taken him to the World Cup as a right back, a position he hasn’t played in 2 years. Fantastic signing for Liverpool. Blow for PSG who almost got him last summer, and were reportedly gonna try again.
- One thing in Pulisic’s favor. Chelsea are bad about developing their academy players and young players that they spent very little money on. But a flashy foreign signing who they spent 64 million euros on will be given every chance to succeed.
- First Anfield experience was one of the best experiences of my life. All that nonsense Liverpool fans like @KeithCostigan spew about the magic of this place is actually true.
- Still a shame that a club that sells out an 80,000 seat stadium every week, gets tons of money from sponsors, and is regularly in the UCL KO stage has to adopt this model. Never been able to convince players that Dortmund is a final destination. Sancho will be gone soon also. From a BVB perspective, since summer of 2016 they’ve sold Mkhitaryan, Gundogan, Hummels, Dembele, Aubameyang and Pulisic. But this feels like it occurred on their terms. They got a good price, he didn’t go to Bayern, and they have an ideal replacement lined up in Thorgan Hazard.
- Most dangerous lead in soccer is whatever scoreline Dortmund are leading a game by. Unbelievable. Wasted a fantastic Pulisic performance.
- The streak lives on. Every UCL winner since 2006 had a Brazilian feature in the Final. And Vinicius is the first Brazilian to score in multiple UCL Finals.
- Here you go. Top 10 Seinfeld episodes. Important note: 1-hour episodes count as 1. 1. The Boyfriend (Keith Hernandez) 2. The Bubble Boy 3. The Outing 4. The Contest 5. The Bris 6. The Visa 7. The Puffy Shirt 8. The Old Man 9. The Alternate Side 10. The Pitch/The Ticket
- Sergio Ramos has only himself to blame. Actually thought he disguised the yellow pretty well against Ajax. Don’t think it would’ve been obvious enough to suspend him, but then he admitted it was intentional in the post-match press conference. Surprisingly naive from him.
- Because thousands of people asked (actually like 5), here’s my Brazil all-time top 10. GK’s excluded 😂😂😂 1. Pele 2. Garrincha 3. Ronaldo 4. Romario 5. Tostao 6. Rivelino 7. Zico 8. Ronaldinho 9. Rivaldo 10. Didi
- Real Madrid are the Germany of clubs. Doing everything right. Theo, Vallejo, Llorente, Ceballos all great additions. #wynaldatalksfootball
- First time in my life I genuinely think Brazil have a better chance of missing a World Cup than winning it. 2nd half today was even worse than the Copa America game against Uruguay. And Dorival is not the man to fix this. A couple of his subs were utterly mind-boggling.
