Eddie Lovell being all-state proves that you don’t have to play full time travel as a kid. He played in house at @PalosBaseball and didnt play full time travel until high school. He was able to play with his friends and not be subjected to 65 games as a 10 year old.

Current status of sports in a nutshell: This week is summer state playoffs for HS baseball and there is a HS showcase today 🤔. Making HS kids pick between this and their HS teammates is a joke

Chargers lose 2-1 to Providence. Luke Kavois and John Skordas were spectacular on the mound. This team was left for dead 2 weeks ago and kept working each and every day. Our program has one goal and that’s to be at our best on day 1 of the playoffs. I think we proved that.

Coach Kowalczyk will be stepping down after 15 years with the program. He has been instrumental in everything that we have done. There will always be a place for him in our dugout. Best of luck with your new gig as Assistant AD and coaching your son.

Season came to an end today but this team fought hard. 10-15 2 weeks ago and finished 17-17 with a regional championship. We say goodbye to 6 phenomenal young men who showed the underclassmen how to do things the right way. Time for the returning guys to get to work.

Chargers win 1-0 on one of the gutsiest pitching performance in the history of the program. Luke pitcher goes the distance, giving up 3 hits and walking none. Austin Stone’s RBI triple in the 1st was the difference in the game.

A little late but congrats to Eddie Lovell on IMA SWSC slugger of the week. Eddie hit 4 HR’s, scored 7 runs and drove in 7. He also walked 7 times during the 4 game stretch.

Today we spotlight Eddie Lovell. He exemplifies a true leader. He put in some serious work this offseason to get stronger. If not for this lost season, he would have been all over the record books as a returning all-state player. Eddie will attend Belmont and play baseball.

Congrats to ‘20 INF/OF Eddie Lovell, @StaggBaseball, on his commitment to Belmont University. Eddie is coming off a JR year where he was named to IHSBCA All State & PBR 2nd Team All State. Belmont is getting gritty dude who absolutely rakes & works as hard as anyone out there.
