HARD disagree. This is just playing percentages. Every round is winnable sure, but outside of winning an extremely unlikely round, this actually provides the best possible outcome for G2 for the rest of the match, why shouldn't they be allowed to do it?

This was raised at VCT Pacific this year when @BONKERSOCE made it to playoffs. Riot straight up said "Winning Ascension does not guarantee a spot in VCT" and that orgs have to pass a separate vetting process. Riot made it clear that had no problem denying a team if needed

This is WILD In only 3 Months after VCL OCE Split 2 ended 5/8 teams have DISBANDED, The rest, 1 - inactive, looks unlikely to reform 1 - Separated from Org and rebuilding roster 1 - Actually continuing as a roster. OCE needs help if Valorant is going to continue in this region

Just said goodbye to the best group of lads. It's been a privilege to meet them all in person over the last week. Dedicated, passionate, and kind. We come out of this week a better and closer team. Win or loss, this is the best team in oce and I wouldn't have it any other way.
