    Yesterday, we lost a friend, teacher and an incredible human being - Mr. Bill Brown. Bill was truly the essence of what it means to enjoy being a teacher. Bill always made others smile with his sense of humor and compassion. RIP, Bill. We will remember you always.

    Watch this video again and look at the Marple players. Pure class! These are the moments that connect us as human beings. In an instant, there were no zip codes. No rivalries. Just people celebrating as one. Thank you to all. This is a memory many of us will never forget.

    Thursday’s Eagles parade is an historic event that will significantly impact attendance for students & staff. Therefore, all schools in the SSD will be closed on Thursday, February 8th. The student day will be rescheduled for April 2nd. Congrats to our Philadelphia Eagles!

    Thinking about how tomorrow will be the last day on our field. So many memories. So many great moments. Be them losses, wins, walks, rallies, shows, the rain, mud, whatever. It didn’t matter. It was ours, and it defined an era of passion and purpose. Gone, but never forgotten.

    I have to admit, when I saw the fence go up, it really hurt. As excited as we are for Monday, there are so many magical memories scattered throughout SHS. Thank you to everyone who ever lived one. Cherish them. Memories are the drivers to new hopes... sleep well, old friend...
