- Love the way Incarnate Word got to this Snag concept. Trips to the field outside the hash, motion the back to run the swing. Y runs the Corner, H clears inside and Z runs the Snag. Man coverage Y beats his man on the corner route, QB throws to open grass.
00:00 - Triangle pass concept used in the red zone (+10) that horizontally and vertically stretches the coverage. Used in both college and the NFL the QB reads it Under, Return, to Corner. Here it's drawn up with a Fade by the X.
00:00 - Alabama ran a Post-Wheel-Bubble route from 11 personnel with the back out wide. They motionied him to the backfield alongside a receiver who later went in motion. Slot receiver runs a wheel after selling block for bubble. OC Steve Sarkisian ran this at UW and called it Bruin.
00:00 - Coaches get your notepads out. Syracuse using a Canadian football inspired play. Four receivers to the field with one split15 yards behind the line. Once the ball is snapped he runs forward and catches it with blocks from the other Rhee receivers. Perfectly legal play.
00:00 - No matter whose film I'm watching, this play at some point seemingly always comes up. Inevitably someone seems to always get open.
- Watched some old school coaches film of the Mike Martz era STL Rams. Liked the offense back in the day and now that I know what I'm looking at I have a greater appreciation for it. Here are diagrams that were originally posted by Kurt Warner. The play 525 F Post is a classic.
- Another concept that's been popping up on tape. While the personnel and formation may be different, every team has some variation of this. The Rams hit several explosive plays last season with.
- What's your pre-snap read / thought process with this play vs a split safety look (1st pic) and a post safety look (2nd pic)?
- Versatile route combo from bunch by Mizzou. An NFL concept in which Z returns after reaching numbers, Y has a flag and we have a hi/lo with the X dig/ Ze shallow cross. Read is Z,Y. X, to Ze.
00:00 - Great marriage of run and pass here from the Bengals on the Leak concept. Start out in bunch, motion Y across and bring him back post snap on the sift action. This action combined with the run action and play fake helps get he leak route lost in the crowd and wide open.
00:00 - Examples of some 3 over 2 route matches that will be accompanied by video clips of the reads and techniques. Got the idea after watching an old Bo Pelini DB drill video showing the DBs working their Palms route matches.
- Bills one back power RPO in which they started out in bunch then motioned #1 across creating a 2x2 set. The corner traveled with motion creating leverage for the glance vs "N". Post snap both safeties step down to play run, easy read for Josh Allen to throw the glance route.
