- If you are the parent who claps and cheers when your child has a successful play/game, but sit there like you are in a coma when their teammates have that same success..shame on you. Coaches see it, players see it, faculty sees it. Your child can't be a team player if YOU aren't!
- Fall sports could be at stake today. Athletes, coaches, schools have done as asked. National cases have been in a steady decline for weeks. Kentucky under 5% positivity rate. Hospitals are not overwhelmed. More testing than ever before. We have done our part. #LetThemPlay
- 🏈 This may be one of the most significant single season turnarounds I have seen in the region in a while. Greenup, now 3-0, goes ON THE ROAD and defeats Lawrence County 17-14. Greenup was WINLESS last year. Unreal defensive effort from Greenup. Just a great win. Congrats!
- Unpopular Opinion: Some of these parents are straight up whack jobs. I mean straight up nuts in our region! Quit screaming at refs, quit slamming coaches, and STOP only clapping and cheering for YOUR KID. The selfishness in some folks is WILD.
- 🏀 Upset of the year: Lewis County comes into tonight’s 63rd district championship at 10-18, and wallops 25-5 Russell by the final of 66-50. Wow.
- ⚾️ We all knew East Carter could score, but how about Andrew Tomolonis and his complete game? Wow! The magical season culminates with East Carter defeating Boyd 6-0, advancing to state for the first time since 2009. Congrats to all players, coaches, and fans. Great season.

- Thought: Football coaches get a 10-game reg. season. Basketball and baseball play 50 games a year it seems with reg season, AAU, travel ball, etc. If you have a multi-sport athlete on your team with the guts to step on a football field, don't punish them for missing "open gyms".
- I hate to be that guy but.... Watching a lot of local baseball/softball games and the stat logging is killing me. Guy on 1st, 1 out. Batter hits a ground ball to 2nd. Runner out at 2nd on fielder's choice. Batter is safe on 1st. That is NOT a hit for the batter.
