Apparently, if you can see two people hugging, you're left-brained, and if you can see a dinosaur, you're right-brained. What do you see in the mountain?
Canadiens' former team doctor David Mulder on what ended Carey Price's career: “He had a meniscus injury so we sent him to New York for an operation and during it, the surgeon found that the femur had lost all of its cartilage. It was a surprise and that’s what ended his career.”
#GoHabsGo twitter at the start of this week: "In Hughes we trust! He's rebuilding the right way."
#GoHabGo twitter at the end of this week: "Fire Hughes!! He's set the franchise back a decade!!! He's worse than Rejean Houle!!!! WHY WON'T HE LISTEN TO MEEEEEE!!!!!!!"
Right. Shea Weber, captain of the Canadiens and one of the most respected players in the league, is willing to sit out a season nursing an owie in a nefarious plot to enable his club to circumvent the cap next season. Someone's tinfoil hat is on too tight.
Friedman reported (on his podcast) that some teams in the league think Weber' injury is “utter bullshit" to get around the expansion draft & the NHL will be very strict here....
1 It's Weber
2 multiple injuries are plausible
3 It's Weber

Some #GoHabsGo fans are upset over giving up the 31st & 37th overall picks for Newhook, a 22-year-old forward who is a former 1st-rounder. If they had parted with the 5th-overall pick, I could understand it. This is an affordable gamble by a club loaded with promising prospects.
Seems some folks find it unsettling or disturbing that Senators winger Brady Tkachuk is cheering on his brother, Flames winger Matthew Tkachuk in this year's playoffs. I think it's heartening to see brothers supporting each other. That's what family is supposed to be about!
