Met a woman at the coffee shop with two extremely regal looking, well-behaved sausage dogs and I was like "hey I just have to tell you your dogs are so cute!!" and she goes "I love your shirt, it works" and I was thinking my shirt???

- Replying to @breadandposesI mean this in the nicest possible way: why doesn't she put those extra braincells to something actually beneficial rather than endlessly studying? π¬
- β¨ Some personal news β¨ Today I started at CNN as a data & graphics editor. I am *so* excited to get cracking and work with one of the loveliest teams in the biz.
- Replying to @Ned_DonovanI haven't been in a long enough time to know what it's like now but there was a period where the signs at King's X would direct you the longest way to the lines, and if you did the exact opposite it took like 2 mins instead of 10
- Replying to @stephenkbI feel like the "this is not a shoddy ship" assertion is directly contradicted by the prior clause "every time they lost communication"
- Replying to @kirkkornerMaybe I'm wrong but why is the judge even taking into consideration the state of the penal system? Their job is to sentence according to the law and what they've heard during the trial...right?
- A 100+ page brochure advertising new homes in London, printed on thick carded paper Must have kicked themselves after printing...
- Replying to @AdamBienkovDoes that go down when you take out Ed Davey?
- Every now and then I'm on the subway and it says "attention everyone, there are over 100 accessible stations..." And I'm a bit like, 1) there are 472 stations in NYC so disabled people can only use a quarter of them... great 2) what do you want, a medal? Accessibility is basic!!
- A few weeks ago I realised I needed to come home to deal with a bunch of stuff so I left @wsj and moved back to London. I'm open to data journalism jobs in London obviously, but the thing I think Twitter can help with most is teaching/panels/awards. I really miss doing those !
- Replying to @MartinSLewisThe problem is, as someone with unusually long femurs (apparently it's a thing) I literally have skin in this game. It completely crushes my knees/legs when people lean back. But of course this could be solved by airlines having more legroom to start with.
- Today's @WSJ front page. Evan should be back home, doing what he loves: writing incisive and smart journalism. #IStandWithEvan
- You know what's funny. People have been complimenting me on my hair lately - but it's literally just faded out. If I *tried* to get this colour, I couldn't.
