- Strike Team Deployed. Yesterday, a wildfire ignited in Butte County near Chico, the Park Fire is now at about 71,000 acres. In response, our dedicated firefighters from the Sonoma County Fire District have been deployed as part of a Strike Team to assist in firefighting efforts.
