the backlash on this is so funny and it contributed to me dropping league entirely too used to play actively but removal of chests, gacha skins and loot tab taking you to 200 dollar skins, etc has made me not even consider returning

ahh the classic "be grateful it's free" argument, completely ignoring how riots monetization actually works. riot built their own monetization around free chests, skisn and loot rewards, which they're now removing while making paid content worse.

Riot is also REMOVING Honor Capsules and Orbs 💀 Players will no longer receive Honor Capsules and Orbs for leveling up their Honor, instead, they will earn Battle Pass XP.
