My Grandma always said “don’t forget me when you’re CEO” Grew up poor. The belief meant a lot. I got to call her tonight to make plans to go shopping. Her “well I’m not really doing much Christmas shopping this year…” Me “no Grandma, this is shopping for you.”

Better code isn’t the value for code reviews and PR’s in general. It’s having more than 1 person deeply understand that part of the system.

I buy my tea from that man. Jesse’s Tea Shop, a still active Covid phenomenon of a tea subscription box. It’s fantastic.

I think I need fractals printed on shirts to wear and declare my math nerdness. Anyone know of brands that do this?

In the US? - Access to healthcare via having health insurance. - access to credit. Imagine having very little money in the bank, and no ability to obtain credit. Then boom, a tire goes out. Food or tire? Living in a safe environment. The loss of safety is a cost.

Oh, and safety doesn't have to mean crime. Noise pollution from an airport? Increased stress and complications with APD's. Flood zone cause it's cheaper? Then comes Harvey. Right by a freeway? See airport above.

Professional Thrifter Buys clothes at warehouses by the pound sells in units. Selection + curation and lots of moving parts (inventory risks etc) but this friend has been at it for years and has a beautiful ~94% margin 🤩

I think it’s really interesting that the person on the couch is still looking at their phone.

As a person with emotionally immature parents, seeing this as your response (and your thought to readers for an update)… bit of tears here. Relieving that other kids don’t have to experience the pain of my childhood so 🙏
